Two things happened in 2019 that should have made me angry and give up but did not. One my computer crashed and the only copy of my ready to print manuscript was wiped out. And, my computer crashed and the only copy of the non-fiction book I was almost finished was wiped out. The almost finished novel was backed up but every time I started writing the computer began acting wonky and I just stopped working on it.
The good news is: The ready to print manuscript was copyrighted thus, for a fee, I can get a copy of it. The other good news is I do have a backed-up copy of the novel.
The even better news is: I now have a desk top computer.
Writing does not pay the bills, yet. I have other activities that I do to generate income and these business ventures are picking up.
It is tax season and as a preparer I am focused on doing legal returns.
I am almost finished my second baby quilt of the year and I have a few items to make for customers. These activities take away from my writing time BUT I AM STILL BLOGGING!
The bottom line? Life happened and I am still writing. My goal is 3 published works this year (besides blogging!)
