Christian writers write too! I am discovering many faith based writers who self publish, many of them give their booklets away. My Son, Carl William Morris III (1980-2008) was an untitled evangelist he wrote and sold a booklet:JUST LOOKING FOR THE WAY by Carl (CHAMP) Morris. The booklet sold for $10 but he gave many away. I am currently reading booklets written by Larry Hayes. In addition CSM Ministries (C. S. McCorkle) has a series of booklets, I don’t know if they are free or for a minimal fee. When I get the booklets by Mr. Hayes and CSM Ministries they are add ons to m purchase at the Christian Book store in Whiteville North Carolina. It is true people will accept FREE items and may not use them however our prayer is that they or someone associated with them will read the words written that share the Word of God.
I am a faith centered writer, a Christian writer who is motivated by and inspired by Scripture. I don’t expect to make big bucks in my writings because they are closer to the Truth, focusing on God’s Word and not on individuality. I believe in encouraging muy brothers and sisters, particularly my sisters, as they are going through difficult times but I will not tell them that they are not going to have difficult time. I will not ignore the fact that we often are in difficult spots because our own decisions not because God willed it.
Romans 12:9-13 (KJV)
9 Let love be without dissimulation. Abhor that which is evil; cleave to that which is good.
10 Be kindly affectioned one to another with brotherly love; in honour preferring one another;
11 Not slothful in business; fervent in spirit; serving the Lord;
12 Rejoicing in hope; patient in tribulation; continuing instant in prayer;
13 Distributing to the necessity of saints; given to hospitality.

As believers we are to live by love (verse 9) despite tribulation (verse 12). I am not “called” to write motivational books, nor were the above mentioned authors, but to lead people to His word so that they can live despite the things that are happening in the world.
Christian writers like Christian people are difficult to find because there are many individuals who refer to themselves as Christian but do not adhere to the teachings of Jesus the Son of God. I hear the term “spiritual” more and more in recent times- such an ambiguous term. Christ centered writers are not spiritual they are lead by the Spirit, they are spirit lead.
Spririt lead writers may not be on the best sellers list of the New York times but they are writing. Not everyone will read their works in their time but their works will get read when it is time.

Habakkuk 2:1-4 (KJV)
1 I will stand upon my watch, and set me upon the tower, and will watch to see what he will say unto me, and what I shall answer when I am reproved.
