I forgot (sort of) that I am a Christian Writer. It makes a difference when you are lead by the Spirit. Mary said it best: “be it unto me according to thy word.”
Luke 1:38 (KJV)
38 And Mary said, Behold the handmaid of the Lord; be it unto me according to thy word. And the angel departed from her.
If Heavenly Father wants me to write a daily journal every day until the end of this month then I will. As a Christian Writer who is lead by the Spirit of God it is not my will but His that is important.
Matthew 6:10 (KJV)
10 Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven.
The direction I was so confident in going yesterday is not the way He wants me to write. That means that most of what I have written during National Novel Writing Month will be deleted. It is a serious editing, separating His will for my writing with my will.
Hebrews 4:11-12 (KJV)
11 Let us labour therefore to enter into that rest, lest any man fall after the same example of unbelief.
12 For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.
When I, Christian Writer, follow the direction of the Holy Spirit it will not be laborious. If the person is writing under the umbrella of a Christian Writer, a follower of His Word, then she, or he, will not allow personal opinions that do not agree with the word of God to taint her, or his, writing.
