DAY 28 Demonic Attacks notNaNoWriMo

1 Peter 5:8-9 (KJV)
8 Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour:
9 Whom resist stedfast in the faith, knowing that the same afflictions are accomplished in your brethren that are in the world.

I know I am on the right track because those around me who can be influenced by demonic forces are manifesting strife. A person can write all the violent and sexually explicit words he or she wants but those who choose to write biblical truths will have obstacles placed in their way.
Two things happened this morning. One I awakened with the introductory sentence to my manuscript that will help me move forward. Second, I got into a disagreement with my beloved which on any other day would have been a simple discussion but today resulted in the need for cooling off. Strife, a lack of harmony, lack of agreement happens.

James 3:14-16 (KJV)
14 But if ye have bitter envying and strife in your hearts, glory not, and lie not against the truth.
15 This wisdom descendeth not from above, but is earthly, sensual, devilish.
16 For where envying and strife is, there is confusion and every evil work.

You will know that it is demonic because it is unexpected. You should be in a good place but Satan does not want you to write thus he will create a conflict. You must resist the temptation to acknowledge the foolishness and write: pray and write.
Because I have not given place to the devil strife has gone. Because I chose to use what happened as a topic to write about, strife is no longer present.

Ephesians 4:26-27 (KJV)
26 Be ye angry, and sin not: let not the sun go down upon your wrath:
27 Neither give place to the devil.

As a Christian Writer and / or a Prophetic Scribe it is important to not allow attacks to stop you from doing what God has called you to do.

1 Peter 5:6-7 (KJV)
6 Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in due time:
7 Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you.

If you are writing biblically based work then you must know what the Bible states. If you believe you are “called” of God then you will not allow attacks to stop you from doing what you are to do. Quitting is an indication that you were not called or you are not ready to walk in your gifting yet. The ability to not respond in kind when you are under attack is an indication of maturity.

Today, when I realized that the spirit of strife had manifested in my home I did not respond in kind but quieted myself. I prayed, silently, and allowed the Spirit of God to handle the situation, which He did quickly.

Christian writers are lead by the Holy Spirit and not influenced by Satan.
