To many people, myself included, do not read enough. I have, many people have, become programmed to read post, short post

I decided to shut down my YouTube channel just as the number of subscribers was on the rise, because I was getting lazy. It was easier for me to make a series of 15 minute videos rather than write a blog post, people don’t like long videos. I decided to write my thoughts, opinions, beliefs and allow those who are willing to read, read.

I am committing myself to reading, I am a slow reader but that is not a reason not to open a book. It is important that I make decisions using my own references, not someone else’s.

This website is not for people who don’t want to read or want someone to tell them how to think.

I noticed an increased number of detailed responses to my Facebook and other people’s post. Important information cannot be given in 200 words or less, especially if you are introducing a new concept tot he reader. Long comments are annoying on Social Media but welcome here.

As I stated on my previous THOUGHTS OF MARSHA post “Leaving Facebook”, I am committed to reading the Bible 4 times in 2024. I am also, committed to reading more books. I believe in 2023 I finished 2 books and I am in the middle of reading 2 plus one (the plus one is a book that I have been reading for over 4 years!). It is important that I not only read but purchase the print books that are classics and available now.

Truth is being replaced by ideology.
