Today is Tuesday, November 21, 2023 and I am on vacation. I decided to leave my lyre at home and I regret my decision. I love it, as amateurish as I may be, I enjoy playing my 3 songs.

Good news, I just ordered a book that was recently published: How to Play The Lyre Harp in 7 Days: Learn Lyre Harp Music For Beginners (Play Lyre Harp Songs in 7 Days) by Richard Johnson. Prayerfully, it will be the book many of us have been looking for.

HOW TO PLAY LYRE HARP IN 7 DAYS by Richard Johnson
I thought when I first looked at this book it would be a replacement for the things I wrote, it is not. It is an excellent reference manual but it will not teach you how to play the harp in seven days. I was playing, with the help of a You/tube video, Twinkle Twinkle Little Star in less than 7 days. Though the book talks about reading music it does not include sheet music to learn from. The author does recommend Twinkle Twinkle Little Star as the song to learn from. HOW TO PLAY THE LYRE HARP IN 7 DAYS is a reference manual, it is a great supplement to the videos I have recommended.
