As of this writing (December 22,2023) I have 4,155 Facebook friends, most of them I don’t know, a few I know personally, others I know of but I would not call them a friend-friend. When I announced my departure there were a few people who implied that it would be better for me to stay, my ego wanted to believe it. The reality is, I may be entertaining to some people I am not the entertainment committee; I may be missed for a day or two but there is always someone else who can do what I did.
Four thousand people did not read my post, for whatever reason. I currently have 62 Subscribers to my web page, 5 receive email notifications of my post. Rarely get one view on my post, I am not going to present extreme headlines to get anyone’s attention. SISTER TALK is not a “black” thing it is a Christian woman “thing” and I do not expect a great wave of readers right away particularly since I will not be sharing my own post to Facebook.
Who will know that I am here? Those who the Lord leads. My God given purpose is to share the truth of His word to women: Habakkuk 2:2 and Titus 2:3-5. Yes, there are women on Facebook, I do not have the time to respond to each comment on my post and I do not feel comfortable leaving many responses to my post unanswered. If you want to continue the dialogue, regarding a Christian woman’s lifestyle, subscribe to this channel. On January 1, 1024 I will sign off to Facebook and delete my account.
We are entering a time, in this world, in which each individual must solidify what he or she believes. My advice to everyone: Buy a print Bible and read it from Genesis to Revelation repeatedly. Yes, get a King James Bible, in my opinion it is the best, I do read other translations but I default to KJV. With the love of the Lord in my heart I say goodbye to Facebook. Marsha
Habakkuk 2:2-3 (KJV)
2 And the LORD answered me, and said, Write the vision, and make it plain upon tables, that he may run that readeth it.
3 For the vision is yet for an appointed time, but at the end it shall speak, and not lie: though it tarry, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry.
Titus 2:3-5 (KJV)
3 The aged women likewise, that they be in behaviour as becometh holiness, not false accusers, not given to much wine, teachers of good things;
4 That they may teach the young women to be sober, to love their husbands, to love their children,
5 To be discreet, chaste, keepers at home, good, obedient to their own husbands, that the word of God be not blasphemed.
