The following are the unedited words of me, Marsha ..#BeforeCoffee
Another Christian speaker popped up on my YouTube recommendations, his title was interesting but I did not watch it: I am blogging instead. “Understanding God’s voice”, was the title of his video, man cannot teach you how to understand God’s voice.
Isaiah 55:8-9 (KJV)
8 For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the LORD.
9 For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts.
How can man teach what God says is not like mans? The Holy Spirit must teach us what we need to understand.
1 Corinthians 2:10-12 (KJV)
10 But God hath revealed them unto us by his Spirit: for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God.
11 For what man knoweth the things of a man, save the spirit of man which is in him? even so the things of God knoweth no man, but the Spirit of God.
12 Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the spirit which is of God; that we might know the things that are freely given to us of God.
This is why, it is important for you to read your Bible, A PRINT BIBLE. Make notes in your Bible, write in your Bible, review what you wrote in your Bible last year and the year before to verify if there are some ‘adjustments’ that need to be made on what you thought.
It appears that that the church today is in a state of confusion, it is not. God is revealing to those who have submitted to His will, meaning Jesus is Lord of his or her life, places in which false teachings reign.
Ezekiel 34:9-12 (KJV)
9 Therefore, O ye shepherds, hear the word of the LORD;
10 Thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I am against the shepherds; and I will require my flock at their hand, and cause them to cease from feeding the flock; neither shall the shepherds feed themselves any more; for I will deliver my flock from their mouth, that they may not be meat for them.
11 For thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I, even I, will both search my sheep, and seek them out.
12 As a shepherd seeketh out his flock in the day that he is among his sheep that are scattered; so will I seek out my sheep, and will deliver them out of all places where they have been scattered in the cloudy and dark day.
God is showing the world the places of false teachings AND He is leading His sheep away. Are you still there? Are you still in those churches that don’t preach hell is real? Are you still in those churches that don’t teach what is in the Old Testament? Are you still there, attending the one hour church service in which words of encouragement and not chastisement are spoken?
2 Timothy 3:16-17 (KJV)
16 All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:
17 That the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works.
How do you understand the voice of God? It’s not that complicated! You do what He says do and don’t do what He says do not do.
How do you know the will of God? IT IS WRITTEN! (Yes, I am raising my voice.)
How do you hear God’s voice? Well, it is written:
John 10:15-16 (KJV)
15 As the Father knoweth me, even so know I the Father: and I lay down my life for the sheep.
16 And other sheep I have, which are not of this fold: them also I must bring, and they shall hear my voice; and there shall be one fold, and one shepherd.
John 10:26-27 (KJV)
26 But ye believe not, because ye are not of my sheep, as I said unto you.
27 My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me:
Who do you believe? I believe what is written, not what man says. I believe the voice of God not that of man. I know the voice of God because I have a personal relationship with Him through Jesus, Yeshua Hamashiach, the only begotton Son of God. I can confirm what I hear because His words always agree with the written word- that is another conversation.
Be careful my sisters, and brothers, there are people out there who think they know but don’t.
