I grow in my understanding of God’s will daily. It has been 29 days since I deleted my Facebook and Instagram account, 3 days since I deleted LinkedIn. I have been registered Though I changed my political affiliation from Conservative to Republican to vote for Donald j Trump in 2016, I have no loyalty to either the Republicans or Democrats. I have been registered No Political Affiliation for over 3 now and I have intentionally made politics not a priority. These two steps, leaving Social Media and disassociating myself from the daily political dramas, has allowed me to study God’s word more.

Because I know that there is not a Black heaven, White heaven, etcetera, I am able to understand Scripture for what it is and not what culture wants it to be. In addition it is not necessary for me to set aside a day or month to study the history of one particular race. I do not celebrate Black History Month, I do read about history when I find a good book or program that discusses history of all cultures.
