The following are my edited words…

As I listen to Pastor Lauren Livingston of Central Church of God, North Carolina and participate in communion with this particular body of Believers my heart becomes concerned for the people.

1 Corinthians 14:33 (KJV)
For God is not the author of confusion, but of peace, as in all churches of the saints.

I am encouraged by this message of faith, family and the future of those who believe. I am concerned for the people, those who are Christian, and their lack of knowledge.

We are in a time of confusion, church leaders declaring biblical sin to no longer be sinful. The words of God which is found in Scripture has not changed. Homosexuality, abortion, lying, stealing, and other acts of selfishness are still not acceptable behaviors for those who are in Christ.

I challenged everyone to purchase a print Bible, a King James Version, need I write “classic” KJV. I have heard and seen that man is manipulating the Bible to accommodate sinful behavior. God is not the author of confusion man is. Read your Bible, every word.

Global Vision Bible Church, Pastor G. Locke Sr. Pastor, began reading the entire Bible, from Genesis to Revelation, in a month. They began this challenge in December 2023, thus the participants have read the Bible twice. I did not accept that challenge, my plan was to read the entire Bible in 90 days, I have done this before. Every time you, I, read the Bible something new is learned.

We cannot grow in faith if we do not seek Him. It is the Word of God that helps us grow if we submit to what is written. The struggle many believers have today is their investment in the things of this world. Sanctification, separating yourself from, is difficult.

Oh how hard it can be for those who have friends who do this or that even though the word says you shouldn’t do it. It is hard to be the only one who stands on the word of God. But, I say: eternity is a long time to think about what you should have done while living in a finite world.

Mark 9:23-24 (KJV)
23 Jesus said unto him, If thou canst believe, all things are possible to him that believeth.
24 And straightway the father of the child cried out, and said with tears, Lord, I believe; help thou mine unbelief.

We all need help. We have to be like the father of the sick child and cry out: Help my unbelief!” We need the mercy of God to help us, I need the mercy of God.

I need Him more now than I did yesterday because this world is getting more and more confused. The people, even God’s children, are calling good that which the world says as bad and if you do not agree with them you are the problem. Church leaders are agreeing with corrupt worldly leaders and justifying what the Bible says is an abomination. Lord, help our unbelief.

Hosea 4:6 (KJV)
My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge: because thou hast rejected knowledge, I will also reject thee, that thou shalt be no priest to me: seeing thou hast forgotten the law of thy God, I will also forget thy children.

My heart is heavy because so many people are believing a lie. God said: His people are destroyed because of what they do not know. The word states, that God said: “because thou hast rejected knowledge, I will also reject thee”. People who reject God’s Word as it is written reject Him. God’s word is the truth, man’s word that does not agree with God’s Word is a lie (Romans 3:4).

I am one person, one voice, so many people do not listen to me and all I say is: Read your bible. I don’t want people to live the life that I live, I want people to obey God’s word. I share what I have learned and what the Lord has allowed me to share with you, mostly my sisters in Christ. My prayer is that you will read your Bible and see what I see: Without faith it is impossible to please God (Hebrews 11:6).

Faith is important to a Believer, family is important to a Believer, and the future- be it on this side of eternity or the other side- is important to the Believer. Many people are struggling, they are angry, they are looking in the wrong direction because they are listening to the wrong voices.

Get a print Bible and read it from Genesis to Revelation and then read it again and again and again. Seek God not man, or woman. My prayer for you is that you grow in wisdom, knowledge and understanding.
