There are so many lessons we can learn from real life videos, let’s talk about this one.

I have thought about this video for quite sometime, there is so much to learn from what I watched. The adult male, who is in a position of authority is one issue but, my focus is about this young intelligent lady who is now in eternity

I don’t have any answers because we will never know the real why. My one “opinion” is this: EVERY child needs a mother and father who are in the home living a biblically based God ordered life to be an example to their children. A single mother may have to be head of the household but she is not a man, therefore she cannot be an example of a godly father. A single father may be the head of his household but he is not a female therefore he cannot be an example of a Godly mother.

Colossians 3:18-21 (KJV)
¹⁸  Wives, submit yourselves unto your own husbands, as it is fit in the Lord.
¹⁹  Husbands, love your wives, and be not bitter against them.
²⁰  Children, obey your parents in all things: for this is well pleasing unto the Lord.
²¹  Fathers, provoke not your children to anger, lest they be discouraged.

Ephesians 6:1-4 (KJV)
¹  Children, obey your parents in the Lord: for this is right.
²  Honour thy father and mother; (which is the first commandment with promise;)
³  That it may be well with thee, and thou mayest live long on the earth.
⁴  And, ye fathers, provoke not your children to wrath: but bring them up in the nurture and admonition of the Lord.

This young lady was involved with an adult male, a man of power and influence. She became a mother who wanted what was best for her child but she did not understand that she was giving her son what was best for him without the biological father, who was proven irresponsible and ungodly, in his life.

In the end neither parent were apparently aware of what was going on in their daughter’s life.
