Individuals who identify as “Christian”, who the Lord of their lives are God knows, are defensive when their personal doctrines are challenged. I question “identity” churches, those churches who have a particular culture or ethnicity AND DO NOT WELCOME others. I know people of color, Black, who will not go to a “White” church or listen to a White Pastor.
When Donnie Swaggart pointed out an issue with the “Black” church he spoke the truth. Pastors, church leaders, should NOT be endorsing / promoting political candidates who support AND promote abortions or, a political candidate who supports and performed a same sex union ceremony (marriage). The problem many African-Americans (written with sarcasm) have with his remarks is that he is White.
How dare a White man tell a Black “church” how to serve God?

1 Thessalonians 2:1-4 (KJV)
1 For yourselves, brethren, know our entrance in unto you, that it was not in vain:
2 But even after that we had suffered before, and were shamefully entreated, as ye know, at Philippi, we were bold in our God to speak unto you the gospel of God with much contention.
3 For our exhortation was not of deceit, nor of uncleanness, nor in guile:
4 But as we were allowed of God to be put in trust with the gospel, even so we speak; not as pleasing men, but God, which trieth our hearts.

Eternity is not segregated. God is not looking for a race or culture; He is looking for those who love and are submitted to Him and have yielded to the Lordship of His Son Jesus.
