Isaiah 54:13 (KJV)
13 And all thy children shall be taught of the LORD; and great shall be the peace of thy children.
Proverbs 22:6 (KJV)
6 Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it.
Colossians 3:20-21 (KJV)
20 Children, obey your parents in all things: for this is well pleasing unto the Lord.
21 Fathers, provoke not your children to anger, lest they be discouraged.
Parenting is a 24 hour a day 7 days a week, no holidays, girls night off days or sick days . The amount of word of God you put into your child (Isaiah 54:13) and the amount of discipline and love (Proverbs 22:6) you instill as they grow will influence who and what they become.

Titus 2:3-5 (KJV)
3 The aged women likewise, that they be in behaviour as becometh holiness, not false accusers, not given to much wine, teachers of good things;
4 That they may teach the young women to be sober, to love their husbands, to love their children,
5 To be discreet, chaste, keepers at home, good, obedient to their own husbands, that the word of God be not blasphemed.
As an empty nester, my sacrifice was worth the investment!
