PAIN CAN PRODUCE PURPOSE

Tested to be a testimony, your mess can be a message, these are things that I have heard over the years. I have said, before I understood the true meaning of what I was saying: I am the sum total of my experiences. What do these words mean?

1 Corinthians 10:13 (KJV)
13 There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it.

It was difficult when I was going through the painful divorce of my first marriage, when I was walking through the valley of my son’s and my mother’s death simultaneously and when I was going through all the other things that I was going through through in my life. But, God was with me, He gave me a way to make it through. Out of my pain my purpose was developed.

When we endure our trials, create messes in our lives, are tempted and give in or overcome, when we fall short of the will of God, for those of us who are submitted to Him, it is the Blood of the Lamb that gave us the victory. My writing is the fruit of years of seeking God’s word to get through my pain and in my journey I discovered there are others who need to learn what I learned.

There was a video that I wanted to share with this post but it has been since taken down. The above date reveals I created this blog post in September but I did not release it, God knows. The message is still the same, we go through stuff and with the help of the Spirit of God we do not stay in the mire.

2 Corinthians 4:15-18 (KJV)
15 For all things are for your sakes, that the abundant grace might through the thanksgiving of many redound to the glory of God.
16 For which cause we faint not; but though our outward man perish, yet the inward man is renewed day by day.
17 For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, worketh for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory;
18 While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal.

As 2024 comes to its conclusion there may be unresolved issues going on in your life- don’t give up.
Relationships, finances and health may still be a challenge; there is a “But God!”. That is the one thing I remind myself when I rehearse that which is not as I want it to be in my life or even things I see around the world.
If this was the end, Jesus would be here to take God’s children away, but apparently, since you are reading this, He hasn’t come here yet. That means you have another opportunity to trust God with all of your heart and soul.
Is Jesus Lord of your life? Yes. Read your Bible, study it, pray based on what is written and trust what is written. No. Why not?

I do not have the ability to save anyone all I can do is remind anyone who will listen: John 14:6-7 (KJV)
“Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. If ye had known me, ye should have known my Father also: and from henceforth ye know him, and have seen him.”

I have a booklet I can mail to you at my cost which gives you an introduction to faith in God through Jesus but I cannot convince you to believe. My testimony is I survived: verbal, physical, financial and even health attacks; I am not angry, bitter, hateful, vengeful or unforgiving. The booklet is entitled: WHO DO YOU THINK I AM, if you would like a copy leave a message or comment with an email address.
