Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.

It is a process, living is a process, we did not get everything right yesterday and so we should be trying to do it better today. Today will become our yesterday if the Lord gives us one more day; and the cycle begins again. I have decided to look for the good and help those I can help.
I see what is happening in the United States of America and my focus has been on sewing! No, I don’t ignore what is happening I just pray about it and move on. I voted for Trump but I have read the Bible often enough to know he is limited. I expect stuff to happen and I believe God reveals to His children how to make it through the mess.

1 Corinthians 10:13 (KJV)
There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it.

What I see around me are people who identify as Christian but believe they have to yield to the ways of the world. I often tell the people I know to not focus on what “they” say, the media, but what He said. Stuff is going to happen and we need to be aware of it and not be like the world, Christians are part of the Kingdom of God.

Luke 21:34-36 (KJV)
34 And take heed to yourselves, lest at any time your hearts be overcharged with surfeiting, and drunkenness, and cares of this life, and so that day come upon you unawares.
35 For as a snare shall it come on all them that dwell on the face of the whole earth.
36 Watch ye therefore, and pray always, that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man.

Remember what is written in Philippians 4:8 and focus on that. I watch, pray, and meditate on the word of God. Because I cast my cares on Him (1 Peter 5:7) I have time to focus on sewing.
