Why Civil Rights is bad and government assistance made it worst!
Let me present my financial resume: I accepted food stamps for about 6 months until I started receiving a paycheck. I have file bankruptcy but I have never been homeless. I don’t own a home or a car but I do live in a home that is owned by a family member and I have access to transportation. I do not go into debt because of eating at fancy restaurants, getting manicures and pedicures or buying the newest whatever, My worst financial habits are buying books before I finished the last one, purchasing fabric and helping people by giving what I have. But, my credit is good because I work and support all of my habits.
I watched this video and it confirms my ideology based on what the Bible says not man’s theory,including mine. Before Civil Rights and blaming White people was the root of all the problems of Black people. Before government assistance and being poor was a career choice, people worked.
I asked my great uncle before he graduated into eternity at 102 years old, how did he survive the south in the early 1900’s (2025-102=1923 the year of his birth). According to what we have been told: White people spent their time killing Black people. My great uncle said: he worked in the field with White people and they worked together. Black people stayed on their side of the town and White people stayed on theirs but if one got caught on the wrong side of town it was possible that he was beat up. Did Black people beat up White people? Apparently. My great uncle died getting along with all people, regardless of race.
When I watch this video (see below) I see how my great uncle lived all the days of his life. I see how my great aunt lives today at 96 years old.
Before government assistance and before the Civil Rights movement BLACK PEOPLE stayed together as a family, the men worked hard to bring money home and women earned a few dollars but focused on raising children. Faith, family, education and hard work were the foundation of the home and then someone decided we needed to follow man not Jesus.
Civil Rights did what was necessary in the 1960’s to bring awarness to a problem. Today those so called “Civil Rights” leaders point out an incident with blinders on and ignore the bigger picture which is ignorance (see my post A CULTURE OF IGNORANCE). Discrimination complaints is a profitable business for those who understand how to manipulate the system to their financial advantage. Pay attention to what they say about Black on Black crime, poor public school systems, the high abortion rate in Black communities, or even the number of homes in which the father is not present.
Government Assistance has promoted a new job for many and redefined the term “homemaker”. Now individuals can make money at home: their rent is paid by the government, their groceries are paid for by the government, health care is paid for by the government and they receive cash assistance to pay utilities and for other miscellaneous items. Thee Home-makers raise their children to live a similar lifestyle.
The video reminded me of my family and how we were raised. I live in my grandfather’s house, my mother inherited it and when she passed away my sister inherited it, she is living in another inherited home (another family member’s) while I live. My family is not the only family in which generations were taught: Faith, family, education and hard work.
